House House House

Zoomed by bt timah road, I just looked at all those houses in amazement. Some very pretty, some ugly, and some not extroadinary. But the thing is, with all these houses and how much they cost, how could an average singaporean afford them? And the answer to this, C says is , CANNOT. Cannot as in , no matter how many times I would stand under the lamppost in Geylang, still won't earn enough monies to afford those houses in bt timah or chancery.

Moral of story? Those places are not for average Singaporean. Next lifetime lah.

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there.

i always wonder how we define "average singaporean". If u ask me, I will define:

1) both husband and wife employed
2) has a roof over the head
3) maybe a kid or two and a dog or two
4) flat screen
5) a four wheel vehicle

I am your average singaporean.....

Well, the 'average' singaporean who slogs at a 'salary man's' pay cannot EVER afford a chancery house.. thats min 5 million for a simple one... BTW (wen was looking at GOOD CLASS BUNGALOW AREAS-GCBA)...so that buys many berkin bags... Teh only way is to be very smart at investing or be very sneaky and deal drugs... hmmm... i wonder which would be quicker?...
You could also be like me and pay for house, car,etc and only have $50 in my wallet at any time...sad hor ...
