Back to the point on storage space. The whole trigger for me to want to buy my own apartment is...lack of storage space. So really my apartment needs to satisfy these conditions:
1. space for yoga studio
2. space for walk-in wardrobe cum storage. Ultimate aim - boutique style open display. Showcase!
3. Large kitchen. I'm not greedy, something the size of my current kitchen will do (which is even bigger than most private apartments!)
4. large bathroom, enough for bathtub, separate shower stall, 2 basins, the bowl.
5. private room for dogs
6. bedroom (I dont' mind small, but C will definitely complain).
And as I told C, my walk in wardrobe must be well designed with 'potential for expansion'. C rolls his eyes, at this rate, he said, might as well I start off with a 3,000sq ft apartment. It ain't all gonna fit, he said.
Maybe i need to move to australia, some remote suburb in order for all this to happen, on a limited budget.
This would be ultimate. Move to Australia just because I ran out of storage space. I can see my friends' eyes rolling to the back of their heads and getting stuck there.

my uncle house in melbourne is 3-4 times my house....... and a huge backyard for the dogs to go crazy running to and fro and a creek behind w birds flying down daily..... it is really nice, and i did consider a ppty in OZ.
But back to reality, working there for three months last years, i concluded the following
1) if i work in oz, i will be tax like almst 50percent,
2) i wldn't be able to afford even a part time maid, let alone 2 maids
3) i will have to do all the things mysf.
it seems a nitemare to begin with. i still stick to my humble house for now. and try to maximise space. and yes, my eyes stuck behind now... hahhaha

get a house. then you get to design it. i can help you design it :) after all i helped you get all the nice woody furniture, sort of, right?

4) a nice shade w cool layback outdoor lounge chairs
low hanging fruit - the sitting in balconey and sip tea part already can achieve at ur respective houses. ahahahha.
no no.... we want to do it in your house:) u noe.. maybe u cn gt a like 30storey view... awesome... imagine a 3000sqft penthouse....
woohoo! 30 storey. will holly try to do a running leap over the balcony? I'm only on the 17th and i get the shivers if i stay too long outside my balcony.
and yes, we really do want to hang out at your place. dun mind watching korean dramas. they can get quite addicting.
