Birthday Treats

Free Warm Choc cake at Bakerzin as a treat from them for my birthday month.

Actually there's a lot of birthday vouchers from various stores, just that I don't bother to use them as they often mean spend more $$$ to get the birthday treat. But I like this Bakerzins one just fine...free is free...no minimum spend. Yum.

When Bored...just Cook

Amazingly I find myself bored, and with time on my hands. A rare event these days, but with no yoga class, no boyfriend, no shopping open thanks to a long CNY weekend.....well, out comes the Jamie Oliver cookbook. Voila! A simple spicy tuna pasta.

It's Lunar New Year again.

Not like it used to be, when we were young it was so much more fun as we played like kids without a care. As adults, we have too much to think about and lose our childlike innocence.

how quick we all grow up. Now cousins have children, and their children have children. Whoa.

So we did the touristy stuff in celebration of my coming of age. Sentosa, Singapore Flyer,.... and finally dinner at Forlino.
